11/23-30/12
Well, I did pretty well listing my thankfulness. Until, that is, the munchkin's bronciolitis got even worse. Thankfully with the use of a nebulizer, we were able to keep it from progressing any further and he is FINALLY back to his happy, smiley self.
So, a recap of last week's thankful count . . . all in one. :)
11-23-12
Today I'm thankful for pediatricians with holiday hours.
11-24-12
Today I am again thankful for modern medicine.
11-25-12
Today I'm thankful for our hard-working, OCD, intense, fun, cuddly Daddy.
11-26-12
Today I'm thankful for Omas who always save the day {and my sanity}.
11-27-12
Today I'm thankful for Rich's college roommate who introduced him to Iranian food.
11-28-12
Today I'm thankful for the simple pleasures in life. Like playing with a pack of toilet paper.
11-29-12
Today I'm thankful for friends.
11-30-12
And today, I'm thankful for helpers;
bandaids, even when they're unnecessary;
the tooth fairy . . .
. . . who still isn't allowed in his room;
that my happy baby is back, and
for pictures that make me stop in my tracks and wonder how a picture of a butt crack ended up on my phone before realizing it is knuckles. Not a butt crack.
Shew. Cause that would have been weird. |
Hmmmm. Wonder who might have done that . . .

11-21-12
Today I'm thankful for modern medicine, technology to make the administration of modern medicine easier, and big brothers who cheer you on.

11-20-12
Today I'm thankful that (almost a year ago!!!) we made the switch to cloth diapers. When I think about the money we've already saved (pretty sure if we haven't already broken even we're getting close...and Es only 6 months old!), the diaper rashes we haven't had, and how cute those fluffy little butts are, I know the extra work is worth it. Who would've ever thought this would be one of my favorite sights?!
Almost makes me want to have more . . . said as I collapse in a fit of
uncontrollable, hysterical laughter. Because, we'll, that's just
hysterical.

11-16-12
Today I'm thankful for the knowledge and ability to sew. It's become my favorite form of "my" time, my creative outlet, and the fact that I can make a little money in the side is an added bonus.
11-15-12
Today I'm thankful for a (persistent) patriotic 4 year old who insisted on carrying around the flag I just brought in from outside "so we can say the pledge"; for my freedom to say said pledge 6 times while trying to get dinner started; and for the "stick" off of a set of mini blinds which was deemed appropriate (by the opinionated, persistent, patriotic 4 year old) to which the flag was attached. :)

11-14-12
Today I'm thankful for a forgiving, loving, God who has blessed me beyond measure.
{even though a certain (exhausted) 4 year old refused to say his prayers tonight because he was mad at God because "He won't make me be able to fly".}

Six Months
Easton!! You're
SIX MONTHS OLD!!!
What you're up to these days:
* We went to the doctor today and you're 18.9 pounds {75%} and 27" {75%} of perfection! i looked back - all 3 of you were within a 1/2 inch of each other at 6 months, and you are exactly the same weight as garrett was. . . which happens to be almost 1 1/2 pounds more than hudson. :)
* You have your 2 bottom teeth and the top ones aren't far behind.
* You sit like a champ! Even Dr. Kapor commented on how solid you were . . . "more like a 9 month old". slow down!!
* You got to meet 2 more of your cousins last weekend - John & Doug were in town from Ohio for a Lacrosse tournament so we went to watch.
* You roll over both ways, as well as spin in circles. You also post up on your arms and scoot backwards. seriously slow down!

* You are so laid back. And you're happiest when the boys are playing and making noise.
* We started giving you some cereal last week. You ate it but much prefer the popsicles and ice cream your brothers {and Daddy} give you.
* You sleep pretty well . . . we're usually up once during the night. I'm pretty sure you'd be sleeping all night if you weren't in our room . . . and if you hadn't already figured out I'm a sucker for your sweet, middle of the night cuddles.
Easton, you're such a blessing to us all. I absolutely cannot imagine my life without your sweet smiles and feel so blessed that I was lucky enough to be chosen for you. I hope you always love your brothers like you do right now and that you never lose your killer smile. I can't wait to see what your 7th month holds . . . I just hope it doesn't go by too quickly. I love you, Munchkin!
Here are all 3 boys at about 6 months:
