My Gram, more commonly known as GG around here, turned 92 at the end of August. What started as one family unit making a trip out to help her celebrate quickly turned into 27 with 6 being unable to attend.
A bittersweet weekend, indeed, but it was wonderful being with family we don't see nearly enough, and celebrating the wonderful woman who made it all possible.

Meeting Easton {great-grand #8 of 9} |
Love the glimpses of the Gram we all know and love! |
One of my favorites! |
Our 4 generation shot. |
There were lots of family pictures . . . |
. . . cake and roses . . . |
. . . a visit from a dear friend . . . |
. . . a little peek-a-boo . . . |
. . . and plenty of comic relief.
There was the organized chaos of trying to get 25 people ready for a group shot . . . |
. . . and other than the bottom half of Rich's face, SUCCESS!! |
Gram with her grand and great-grand children {plus husbands} . . . |
. . . and with 6 of her 9 great-grands {Nicole is 3 1/2 weeks younger than Easton}. |
Love. |
Sweet Lilly. |
After the party we had more time to explore where we were staying . . . |
. . . see the goats . . .
. . . and feed the horses {all rescues! yay!} 50 pounds of organic carrots. |
We got to meet Abby {technically my 4th cousin?} . . . |
. . . and spend the evening with one of my dearest friends from college . . . |
. . . and meet her youngest. She's 6. {seriously sad} |
We had a great weekend being together, eating too much, emptying an obscene number of wine bottles, sharing lots of memories, laughs, and tears,
and a peapod.
